Samsung Wallet will become available to Galaxy device owners in South Africa on November 13. Existing Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass users
in South Africa will receive a notification to migrate to Samsung Wallet when they open one of the two apps. They will get more features, including
digital keys, membership and transport cards, access to mobile payments, coupons and more.
Earlier this year, Samsung began combining its Pay and Pass platforms. The result is that Samsung Wallet is the new app, adding new features while
implementing Pay and Pass.
Initially, Samsung Wallet is available in eight countries, including China, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Spain, the United States and the United
Kingdom. Samsung announced last month that Samsung Wallet will be available in 13 more countries by the end of this year, including Bahrain, Denmark,
Finland, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates.
